- Take semolina and add curd or Yoghurt.. mix well. Now add little water (don't add much water because if you add puree it will batter will be watery.) Keep aside for 30 mins.
- After 30 mins divide this batter into 3 equal parts.
- Wash clean and peel beetroot. Cut into small pieces and add to mixer. Add little water to make thick paste or puree. Add this puree or paste into one part. And mix well. Add water if needed.
- Take spinach. Clean well and chop. Grind it in the mixer by adding little water. Add this puree into another half of the batter and mix well. Add water if required.
- You can add little water to white batter and adjust the consistency.
- Grease Idli mould with oil. Keep idli cooker on gas. Add water to it. Now add half teaspoon eno to each batter and mix well. Pour it in the moulds. And keep the stand inside Idli Cooker. Steam for 12 to 15 mins. Switch off the flame and Let it cool for 10 mins. Remove idlis from the moulds to a plate.
- Serve hot idlis with Chutney and Sambhar.
